The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) continues to administer COVID-19 vaccinations to individuals listed under “Phase 1a” and “Phase 1b” of the Virginia population, which includes healthcare personnel, residents of long-term health care facilities, and individuals over the age of 65 or those aged 16-64 with underlying medical conditions. All other individuals are currently listed as “Phase 1c.”
The VDH has created vaccinate.virginia.gov to check your vaccine registration status or register for the vaccine. Anyone who has not yet registered for a vaccine should visit vaccinate.virginia.gov to sign up for notifications from the VDH. About 19% of Virginians have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
