The Community Foundation of Harrisonburg & Rockingham County has partnered with the Dollywood Foundation to bring the Dolly Parton Imagination Library to local children. This program provides FREE age-appropriate books for all Bridgewater, Harrisonburg, and Rockingham County children under age five – regardless of income. Once a child enrolls, a book is sent to the child’s home address every month until the child turns five. This is all completely free and at no cost to children and their families!
The Community Foundation has enrolled close to 2,000 children county-wide – including over 150 from Bridgewater.
