On Monday, Adams Construction completed the paving of the parking lot at the Sandy Bottom Recycle Center! The old gravel lot was messy, particularly when it rained. We reopened SBRC today, and the paved lot is definitely a huge improvement!
Over the coming weeks, you’ll see additional improvements, as work continues to replace siding and the roof for SBRC and the adjacent shelter. This work will not impact the weekly schedule at the recycle center.
The hours of operation for SBRC are:
- Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to Noon
