Sipe Center has a lot of exciting holiday programming coming up, including both live performances and movies.
Start the holiday season off right with Ballet Magnificat’s “A Christmas Carol” on November 27 and 28 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $32. Inspired by Charles Dickens’ classic tale, Ballet Magnificat brings Ebenezer Scrooge’s life-changing journey to stage.
Ballet Magnificat! is the world’s first professional Christian ballet company. Since its start in 1986, the company has attracted dancers from professional companies around the world and now also from within Ballet Magnificat’s own professional training program.
3 Redneck Tenors Christmas SPEC-TAC-YULE-AR will be sure to spread cheer on December 18! Tickets are $32 and both performances (4:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m.) are almost sold out! These real life Broadway and Opera stars are ready to rock your holidays with a deep-fried feast of musical delights. There’s nothing old-fashioned about this music arranged by award-winning composer Craig Bohmler – it’s infused with vitality, energy and passion.
The familiar Christmas tunes in the show include classics like Sleigh Ride, White Christmas, I’ll be Home for Christmas, Santa Baby, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Blue Christmas, O! Holy Night, Winter Wonderland, Jingle Bells, and Silent Night. You’ll also enjoy Christmas spoofs like Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer and I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus – and a few other great surprises, too!
Live performance tickets are available online, over the phone or in person at the box office. Sipe Center will also being showing several Christmas movies! A Christmas Story will start the season, playing on November 26. Christmas Vacation, The Grinch, Elf and Polar Express will be showing during December! Stay tuned for the holiday movie schedule.
