Today is Charter Day, marking the 187th anniversary of the Town’s incorporation by the General Assembly on February 7, 1835. We had initially planned an evening of festivities at Sipe Center this evening, including a trivia contest and giveaways.
In light of the events of February 1, as a staff, we did not feel it proper to hold this celebration, so our Charter Day activities have been canceled this year.
