Collect Them or Leave Them?
We frequently hear requests to collect leaves raked to the curbside. As with most of our services, taking on leaf-collection would require us to rethink our priorities a little. Today, we ask if leaf-collection would be worth some tradeoffs.
The equipment is on the order of $100,000-$150,000, and our rough estimate of the labor is 350-450 employee-hours. Collecting leaves would NOT trigger a tax increase, but it would spread our time and money thinner elsewhere.
