We will be having more Acting Workshops at Sipe Center! Acting 2.0 will take place on June 20 and June 27 at 7:00 p.m.
Gain a deeper understanding of acting techniques. We will be reading scripts, learning text work, and getting participants up on stage with scenes! The Acting 2.0 workshops will be built off of one another, so it is expected that participants can come to BOTH days. Whatever your level of experience- these workshops are designed for adults to build skills and confidence from the ground up.
Workshops are led by Rhys McClelland. When based in the UK, Rhys worked as a Director and Educator for some of the largest producing houses in the country including the Birmingham Repertory Theatre and Chichester Festival Theatre. From 2014 – 2021 Rhys was based in New York where he acted as Assistant Artistic Director for the Planet Connections Theatre Festival, Youth Theatre Director for the Shakespeare Forum and Education Director for both the Shakespeare Society and The Public Theater.
