In the coming months, improvements will be made at Bridgeview Park. The most notable improvement will be Riverwalk Phase II. This section of Riverwalk will continue through Bridgeview Park eventually connecting to West Bank Street. In addition to Riverwalk, a portion of the walking path will be upgraded to a five-foot-wide asphalt path. The park sign will be replaced and other cosmetic improvements will be made.
The existing path around the exercise park has been impeded by several trees. To allow for the five-foot-wide asphalt path, these trees will need to be removed. Occasionally trees need to be removed to accommodate community projects. The Town will plant a new tree to replace any tree that is removed. Replacement trees may be relocated depending on the circumstances.
