As summer draws to a close, you won’t want to miss our annual Summer’s End Celebration. Held on Labor Day, September 4, we have a full day of activities. Today, we’ll talk about some of our Summer’s End morning events.
The day begins bright and early at 8:00 a.m. with our annual “Race to the Bottom” 5k at Sandy Bottom Park. We have over 160 participants signed up to run, jog, or walk the 5k! (If you missed online registration, you can still register at the Sandy Bottom Park picnic shelter on race day from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.)
Following the 5k, Mini-Golf will open early to the public at 9:00 a.m. and will remain open through 10:00 p.m. Monday. (Starting this week, Mini-Golf will be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from Noon to 10:00 p.m.)
At 11:00 a.m., come out and cheer on family and friends participating in our 5th Annual Miniature Golf Leaderboard Tournament. These are the best mini-golfers in Bridgewater, who will compete to earn a place on our championship plaque.
Check out the Buzz Monday morning for more info on the rest of our Summer’s End activities!
