North River Library would like to invite you to a program called “What’s the Buzz about Honey Bees” on Saturday, September 9 from 11:00 a.m. to Noon. All ages are welcome.
Our special guests will be Tom and Kristin Knapp, local bee keepers and swarm rescuers. The Knapps will bring a working hive (completely enclosed) for all to see and share examples of honey they collect. There may even be a tasting if you are interested.
Plan to join us in our beautiful NRL butterfly/pollinator garden and gazebo located behind the library on Saturday, September 9.
***Bring a lawn chair and if it rains we will be indoors in the library.
P.S. If you have nature books you no longer need, please bring them for our new Backyard Books lending library!
