TA Day of Service

This morning you may have seen a number of teens working around town in brightly colored shirts. Today was Turner Ashby High School’s Day of Service! We had roughly 50 kids helping in our parks and facilities. From mulching to painting and collecting trash to cleaning benches, the students worked on a number of projects.

Students (pictured above, clockwise from the upper left) (1) painted the fence at the Bridgewater Historical Society, (2) cleaned benches at Cooks Creek Arboretum, (3) picked up fallen branches at Wildwood, (4) mulched around trees at Oakdale Park, and (5) spread rock around the exercise stations in Bridgeview Park.

Students also served in many other locations around town including Bridgewater Retirement Community, Little League, Ashby Pool, and John Wayland. Thank you to the students and staff of TA for your hard work in our community today!
