The Harrisonburg-Rockingham Metropolitan Planning Organization (HRMPO) recently studied this corridor between Rte. 42 in Bridgewater and Rte. 11 in Rockingham County to see how future growth and development might impact traffic and safety along Dinkel Avenue for vehicles and pedestrians. HRMPO will be holding an open house at Smiley’s Ice Cream on Tuesday, May 21. Stop in anytime between 4:00 and 6:00 pm.
At this open-house style public meeting, you will be able to review the recommendations resulting from the study. Maps and visuals will show potential future improvements, and staff will be available to answer questions.
