Ready! Set! Read!

The North River Library is kicking off summer with fun activities for the whole family!

The Summer Reading Challenge runs June 3 through August 4 and includes prizes, Free Friday incentives, and programs for kids and adults alike. Read all about it here!

Saturday, June 8 begins the summer series titled “Blossoms, Butterflies, Bees and Books” at 11:00 am.  Families will learn how to start and maintain a butterfly (pollinator) garden and why they are important. Come prepared to dig in the dirt, learn, and help plant a sensory garden just for kids! The event will take place outside behind the library near the garden area. Ages 5 and up. Find more information here.

Story Time for ages 0-5 (children may bring older siblings) will be held on Thursdays at 10:15 & 11:00 am. There will be special guests throughout the summer.

Each Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 pm, the library hosts a club for children with a different activity each week:
1st Tuesday of the month – Game Club (all ages)
2nd Tuesday of the month – Lego Club (ages 5 and up)
3rd Tuesday of the month – Puzzle Club (all ages)
4th Tuesday of the month – Keva Club (ages 5 and up)
