Street Parking on West College at Grove

As the new parking lot at West College and Grove Streets has now opened, we have given thought to how we can make that intersection safer. As users of Grove Street may know, street parking on West College between Main and Grove can create limited visibility of oncoming traffic and make that crossing difficult at best and unsafe at worst. We have decided to remove one street parking spot on West College nearest to that intersection to increase visibility and reduce the potential for traffic accidents there. With the new parking lot, we still have a large increase in the number of available spots in the Sipe Center neighborhood, and so we will be able to make things safer for drivers and pedestrians at that intersection.
