Town Office: The Town Office is open today for normal operating hours, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
Snow Day Movie: With schools closed today, we will show Wicked – Part 1 at Sipe Center at 1:00 pm, with doors opening at 12:30 pm.
Generations Park Ice Rink: The Ice Rink is open for its usual operating hours today, 4:00 – 9:30 pm.
Large Item Pickup: The snow is causing us to adapt our plans for large item pickup this month. Some items that were set out before the snow are buried. We usually use a backhoe to pick up items, but with a blanket of snow over the ground it may be difficult to use without risking doing damage to yards. So we will not be able to systematically work our way through town like we usually do. Our crews will likely begin pick up today and make a pass through town to get what items they can safely get. As the snow melts and recedes in the coming days, we will make additional trips to gather the remaining items. This process may last through next week, but please rest assured that we will do our best to complete this month’s large item pickup with as smoothly as possible. Today, you may go ahead and place your large items out for collection, and we will get it as soon as the snow allows.
Trash Service: Waste Management will begin pickup for the usual Monday route today. Today’s usual service will run tomorrow. For Bridgewater Retirement Community residents, we plan to pick up your trash this afternoon.
