Our annual water report-officially the “Consumer Confidence Report”-was delivered by the postal service over the weekend. It reports on the quality of your drinking water and is required by law to be distributed annually under the Safe Drinking Water Act. Once again, it reflects that our drinking water is safe to drink and meets all state and federal requirements. It is also a testament to our staff who have the responsibility of operating our water treatment plant.
Water Treatment Plant Open House
Our staff are also excited to invite you to learn about your water treatment plant and where your drinking water comes from! Our plant operators are hosting an Open House on Saturday, June 28, 9:00 to 11:00 am. Drop in at 700 Green Street during the Open House for a self-paced tour as you follow the journey that raw water takes through our facility on its way to being ready for use. Plant operators will be stationed along the way to explain what happens at each stage of the process.
