The rides are being set up, and the food is being prepped, so that can mean only one thing! The Bridgewater Lawn Party kicks off on Wednesday!
While the excitement is growing and volunteers are getting everything ready, our maintenance crew is also hard at work preparing for the Lawn Party. We discovered a water leak on the lawn party grounds last week that was creating a marshy area. We informed the Volunteer Fire Company of the issue, and after inspecting it they asked if we could help them with the repairs this week, so our crew is working on that today. Thank you to everyone who is making this upcoming week possible!
Speaking of preparations, we want everyone to be informed of the road closures that will occur for the parades. The Fireman’s Parade is Friday at 7 pm, and the Tractor and Antique Car Parade is Saturday at 6 pm. The parade route will be closed about 10 minutes before start time. If you need to travel through town during these times, the map below shows the detour route.
Remember, free shuttle bus service will run from Turner Ashby High School beginning at 6:00 pm each evening during the Lawn Party. Enjoy!!
