The heat is on to find blood donors! Our next blood drive is Tuesday, August 5 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm in Arey Assembly Hall. The Red Cross continues to be at critical shortage levels for blood donations, so every donation counts.
The Red Cross is also offering a couple of incentives. People who give during the period of Aug. 1-28 get a $15 e-gift card to a merchant of choice.
The Red Cross will also perform free A1C testing, commonly used to screen for prediabetes and diabetes, on successful donations in August (one result per donor in a 12-month period). See rcblood.org/Test for details.
