Monday’s the Day for Summer’s End Celebration

We are just a few days away from our annual Summer’s End Celebration! Held on Labor Day, September 1, we have a full day of activities. This fun, end of summer celebration features a 5k, Mini-Golf tournament, rides, music, and fireworks!

The day begins bright and early at 8:00 am with our annual “Race to the Bottom” 5k at Sandy Bottom Park. You can still register here.

Following the 5k, Mini-Golf will open early to the public at 9:00 am and will remain open through 9:00 pm Monday.

At 11:00 am, come out and cheer on family and friends participating in our Annual Miniature Golf Leaderboard Tournament. These are the best mini-golfers in Bridgewater, who will compete to earn a place on our championship plaque.

Starting at 3:00 pm, come out to Oakdale Park for carnival rides and delicious food and beverages. To ride the carnival rides, just stop by the Town of Bridgewater tent to obtain your free pass – just show your B-Rec card! Each person must present their B-Rec card to ride free. If you’re not a Town resident (or don’t bring your B-Rec card), passes can be purchased for $5.00 per person to ride all rides. (Kids aged 3 and under are free.)

Food will be available for purchase at Oakdale Park and will include hamburgers, pork BBQ, lemonade, sno-cones, kettle corn, loaded nachos, and more.

In the evening, we are pleased to welcome Gone Country – they will be performing on the Oakdale Stage starting at 6:30 pm. The concert is free!

We’ll end our Summer’s End Celebration with a spectacular fireworks show at Oakdale Park at 8:30 pm!

We hope to see you this year at Summer’s End!
