Are you interested in helping to bring back the Lions to Bridgewater? The Virginia Lions leadership will be holding an informational meeting on Thursday, March 5 at 6:30 pm in Arey Assembly Hall (the basement of 201 Green Street).
Lions International is the world’s largest service organization with close to 1.5 million members in over 200 counties. Locally, there are clubs in Harrisonburg, Broadway, Elkton, Massanutten and Weyers Cave. For over 51 years, Bridgewater and Dayton had a Lions Club, but it folded almost twenty years ago. The Virginia Lions Leadership would like to see if there is interest in starting a Lions Club back in Bridgewater.
