There is currently a phone scam involving someone who is impersonating Bridgewater Police. They are spoofing the police phone number and claiming to be an officer conducting a criminal investigation. They say that the recipient of the call is under criminal investigation and will need to make a payment by gift card or bitcoin. Please know that Bridgewater Police will never contact you for payment in a criminal case.
