Details
The Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention program has earned recognition from national organizations, including the Arthritis Foundation and the Administration for Community Living, for its safe and effective approach to improving physical well-being.
Through slow, controlled movements, participants can build muscle strength, improve balance, gently loosen stiff joints, and reduce stress. Participants can perform the movements while standing or, for those who cannot stand comfortably, while seated.
The physical exertion level is similar to walking, making this a gentle and accessible way to stay active. Certified instructors lead the class and provide guidance to help participants move safely and confidently.
Registration
Class size is limited to 25 participants, and the class will remain in the same group throughout the 16-week program. Participants should be prepared to commit to attending the weekly sessions from February 2 through May 18, 2027.
Because space is limited and participants will benefit from progressing through the program together, please register only if you can commit to the full 16-week series.
