If you’ve been following the saga of Mr. John Dough and his five escaped gingerbread friends, you know that last week he shared about where he thought his girlfriend Ginger might be (if not, you can catchup at the links at the bottom of the page). We’ve heard reports that some of you have spotted her, and we hope to find and reunite her with Mr. Dough soon. After all, Mr. Dough has started to worry about his friends and wants your help to find them. So he has shared another clue with us this week! Here it is:
She’s Goody – Goody Gumdrops –
Oh how I do know her well.
Here and there, she shops and shops
Where there are cute things for sale.
Giving gifts, her great pleasure,
Wrapping them up with a bow,
Finding that perfect treasure,
That is where she’s sure to go.
There are fourteen businesses in the decorating contest where our five escaped gingerbread may be found. (Not every business will have one.) While you search for them, be sure to pick out your favorite decorations and vote here on the Buzz through December 14th. We’ve already had about 400 votes, so make sure your voice is heard!
Search the decorations of businesses participating in our contest and see if you can find the gingerbread people. But don’t touch them! They may try to run away before we can come catch them. Just let the business worker know you spotted an escaped gingerbread, and they will let us know. They might even have a treat for you for helping us out!
