While voting has ended, our Great Gingerbread Escape continues over winter break until January 2. So John Dough has shared another clue with us about his gingerbread friends.
John is quite the friendly gingerbread man. Here at the Town Offices, we are falling in love with him. He’s especially enjoying our Christmas decorations (this seems to be a gingerbread man thing). He gave us another clue this week. Boys and girls, please help us find John’s friend!
I’ve another friend named Snappy Sam
Now… he’s an excellent gingerbread man.
He loves his dog so very much
And gives him lots of treats and such.
That crazy dog has a thing for chili
(Which, of course, I think is pretty silly).
But the dog ran off on that cold night,
And Sam followed him in quite a fright.
Where he is now I cannot say,
But I’d guess with that dog that got away,
And the dog is probably enjoying chili.
You don’t think Sam will be cold outside, will he?
The Great Gingerbread Escape Rules
- Spot up to five gingerbread men and women hiding amidst Town businesses’ décor.
- Pop into the business to receive a Town raffle ticket and a small reward from the business.
- Turn your ticket(s) in at the Help Desk of the Bridgewater Community Center (201 Green Street) to enter to win fun prizes from Bridgewater businesses like Prepopsterous, Bridgewater Coffee, Dairy Queen, and more! Up to five entries per family (one entry for each different gingerbread found).
- Drawing will be held on January 3rd, 2024, and winners will be announced here on Bridgewater Buzz News.
