The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) designated this past Saturday as a National Drug Takeback Day to encourage people to dispose of all unwanted or expired medications in a safe and free manner. Properly disposing of medications not only keeps them out of the hands of others but also prevents them from poisoning our water supply.
While the DEA sponsors takeback events twice a year, here in Bridgewater you can dispose of your unwanted medications throughout the year. Our Police Department has a secure dropbox available in the lobby outside its office. You can drop off your medications Monday-Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, at the Town office building at 201 Green Street. Thanks for disposing of your medications responsibly!
