Our maintenance crew finished up the dredging project at Wildwood Park last week. They worked hard to beat the winter weather! Our operator pulled back the tip of the peninsula about 20 feet. Approximately 163 tons of material was removed. This change should prevent “duck island” from reforming at such a fast rate.
This project has left Wildwood Park a little bit of a muddy mess. But, as soon as the ground dries up a bit, our crew will clean up and plant grass, and the result will be the idyllic park the town knows and loves.
